H. D. Kumaraswamy (born 16 December 1959〔(Kumaraswamy,Shri H.D. ) on the Lok Sabha website.〕) is an Indian politician who was the 18th Chief Minister of Karnataka, a state in southern India, from 2006 to 2007. His father is the former Prime Minister of India H. D. Deve Gowda.
